If you are a corporate or business visitor to Singapore it may be that you are travelling in order to attend a conference, exhibition, or other such similar event. Served by EXPO MRT Station, Singapore Expo is the biggest exhibition and conference venue in Singapore. It is also one of the biggest convention centres in all of Asia. It features more than 100,000 square metres of clear space indoors. There are ten different well-equipped and modern halls, each providing 10,000 metres of free space. There are also meeting rooms of various sizes and ten conference halls.
UE Convention Centre
The UE Convention Centre is handily situated right next to an MRT station, Expo MRT Station. The large auditorium can seat up to 600 attendees and has Wi-Fi internet access and a modern AV system. As an exhibition venue the centre can fit up to 23 display stalls, complete with seating. It can also be used as a banqueting hall for smart dinners and formal celebrations, and there are two meeting rooms that can be expanded to create one larger room. The meeting rooms have a projector, Wi-Fi, and a whiteboard.
Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre
A large venue that is part of the elegant Marina Bay Sands Resort, the Marina Bay Sands Exo and Convention Centre can accommodate more than 45,000 attendees. It can hold around 2,000 exhibition booths and it has a staggering number of meeting rooms – around 250! A modern facility with state-of-the-art technology, it is made even more appealing by the excellent views from the awesome sky park.
Raffles City Convention Centre
A large event space, Raffles City Convention Centre is conveniently located close to the heart of the city. The high-tech features include Wi-Fi, internet stations, and satellite conferencing facilities. Perfect for almost any kind of formal event, the centre includes more than 25 meeting rooms and three elegant ballrooms. It is amongst the largest exhibition and convention centres in Singapore.
Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre
Boasting the biggest HD video wall on the planet right outside its main entrance, the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre enjoys great access to an array of restaurants, shops, and accommodation options. A good place to host large and small scale events, the centre underwent an extensive modernization program from mid August 2012 to mid September 2013. Offering all the latest in technology to attendees and event organizers, the venue has more than 42,000 square metres of available space. The adjustable walls on the third level create one huge open space or up to 36 smaller meeting rooms. On the fourth floor you will find large exhibition halls. The sixth level is a popular place for concerts.
Other venues include the Changi Exhibition Centre and the Singapore Conference Hall. There are also many smaller venues that can host meetings and smaller corporate functions.
