Imbiah Lookout is near to Mount Imbiah on the popular Sentosa Island. Unnamed until the early 2000s, Imbiah Lookout is now a favourite place for fun when on Sentosa. There is something for people of all ages, and you can combine great shopping, delicious dining, interesting nature, and terrific views with history and culture.
Here are few things you can enjoy at Imbiah Lookout:
Sentosa’s large Merlion statue is located at Imbiah Lookout, and you can venture to the top of the fierce-looking statue for brilliant views over the surrounding area. At 60 metres above sea level you’re in for a visual treat! There is a gift shop where you can grab some souvenirs, or you can satisfy your appetite with a treat from the café. Ring the Prosperity Bell, said to bring good fortunes, and look out for the golden Mercubs to receive a Prosperity Coin to take away with you.
Tiger Sky Tower
Another brilliant attraction if you love soaking up sweeping vistas, the Tiger Sky Tower provides panoramic views of the coast, Singapore’s main island, Sentosa Island, and other smaller islands that are dotted in the sparkling sea. Ride in the slow-moving and air-conditioned cabin up 110 metres to the viewing platform.
Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom
Particularly popular with visitors with children, you can see a huge selection of beautiful butterflies and interesting bugs at the Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom. With native and foreign creatures, some of which are quite rare and may be difficult to spot in the wild, it’s a good place to learn more about the smaller creatures that we share the world with.
Images of Singapore
A great place for visitors who are interested in knowing more about Singapore’s history, heritage, and people, Images of Singapore leads you on a fascinating journey of discovery. With diverse exhibits, murals, presentations, and multi-media displays, you’ll certainly leave feeling as though you know more about Singapore.
MegaZip Adventure Park
MegaZip Adventure Park has courses suitable for adults and children alike. Venture into the treetops for a different view of the area, and feel the adrenalin rush as you soar through the skies on ziplines and have a go on the challenging rope courses high in the trees. It’s certainly not for those who are afraid of heights! For even more energetic action, have a go on the climbing wall or the simulated parachute jump.
Sentosa 4D Adventureland
Sentosa 4D Adventureland was the first 4D cinema in Southeast Asia, providing an experience that incorporates several senses, rather than just the usual sight and sound that one normally experiences at the cinema. Images come right at you out of the screen, you will move in your seat (or, rather, your seat will move with you in it!), and the temperature will change based on the scenes. Get warmer, and then cooler, feel the wind flowing, and maybe you’ll even get a little bit wet! It certainly adds different dimensions to films! If all that’s not enough, you can enjoy a log ride or test your aim and have a shoot out with the 4D shooting game.
Take a ride on the luge, soak up the views from the peaceful skyride, have a go on the Flying Trapeze, and visit the cool Sentosa CineBlast. There are so many great things to see and do at Imbiah Lookout!
