CHIJMES

CHIJMES was originally known as the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ), a premier girls’ school established in 1854 by an order of French Catholic nuns. Today, the facade is an award- winning gazette national monument recognized by UNESCO. Despite the exciting dining and nightlife options it houses today, CHIJMES retains a sense of tranquility and harmony, making it a peaceful oasis amid the bustle of the city.
